Mission

The mission of Little Creek Farm Conservancy, Inc. is to promote the stewardship of Little Creek Farm for equine activities, including educational, environmental and recreational outreach programs for the general public.


Non-Profit Status

The Little Creek Farm Conservancy, Inc. — a new nonprofit organization formed by friends of Little Creek Farm. The Conservancy has obtained its 501.c.3 status as a charitable organization. Membership is open to anyone with an appreciation for what horses can provide to enrich the lives of both riders and non-riders.


Funding

LCFC is funded through three sources. 

  1. Membership dues

  2. Fundraising activities conducted by the Conservancy’s volunteers including the Fall festival, Pony Rides, and Manure Day

The Conservancy cooperates with Stride Ahead, Inc., which provides a wide range of programs at Little Creek Farm for the benefit of DeKalb County citizens.  These include programs for special needs children and adults, emotional development programs for at-risk youth.
